AConsult (PTY) LTD

AConsult (Pty) Ltd was formed in May 2004.  Trevor Johnstone, our founder and Managing Director, is a registered Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).

Mission Statement:

We strive to produce professional, well-engineered, innovative and cost-effective designs catering for our clients’ needs in the field of Mechanical Building Services, with particular emphasis on HVAC Systems.  We will at all times conduct ourselves in accordance with the morals, ethics and Code of Conduct of the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and the South African Association of Consulting Engineers (SAACE), as our minimum standard.  In all aspects of our business dealings we will apply Christian business practices, ethics and honesty.

In-house Staff:

Ms Danita Stuthridge is one of our Project Engineers.  She has a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Johannesburg and is registered with ECSA as an Engineer in Training. Danita is responsible for design, technical quality, management and supervision of projects.

Mr Gregory Brumme is one of our Project Engineers.  He has a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Pretoria and is in the process of registering with ECSA as an Engineer in Training. Greg is responsible for design, technical quality, management and supervision of projects.  He is also full proficient in the use of AutoCAD and so provides backup to the drawing office where necessary.

Mr Marius Ferreira is one of our Project Engineers.  He has a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Florida, USA and is in the process of registering with ECSA as an Engineer in Training. Marius is responsible for design, technical quality, management and supervision of projects.  He is also full proficient in the use of AutoCAD and so provides backup to the drawing office where necessary.

Mr Jared Botha is our AutoCAD Design Draughtsman.  Jarred is responsible for the operation and management of our drawing office to ensure efficient drawing production and information flow in and out of the office.

Other Staff:

Mr Dusan Stefanov, a registered Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), runs most of our projects in the Tshwane area in a standing joint venture with AConsult (Pty) Ltd or on a contract basis for smaller projects.  Dusan has over 18 years’ experience with HVAC and Mechanical Services design for commercial / industrial buildings, hospital operating theatres and shopping centres.  He is also an accomplished piped steam system designer and an acoustic design specialist.  He operates his practice from his own office in Centurion and he, assisted by his wife Olja, also produces all AutoCAD Drawings for the projects under his control.

Mr Venci Krouchev is a Mechanical Engineer with 20 years’ experience in the HVAC design and installation field.  Mr Krouchev works with us as a specialist consultant and can manage the site supervision aspect of our projects very well.

All our technical staff have extensive experience with the physical installation and drawing / coordination of HVAC systems.  This team has the necessary skills to enable the Practice to provide the required design expertise, site supervision, quality control, services coordination, drawing production and drawing quality / management to our clients.

Other Resources:

Our design, draughting and site supervision capacity is also bolstered by numerous specialist individual contractors who we use regularly to provide us with the level of service required on our projects.  These contractors are employed on a temporary basis, for specific projects.
